Developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Division of Education, the mission of the ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators™ is to play a leadership role in advancing the science and practice of education across all surgical specialties, and promoting the highest achievements in the lifetimes of surgeons.

Founded in 2017, the Academy continues to grow in numbers and has attracted phenomenal expertise from across the House of Surgery and around the world. The Academy is more than an honorific group. The preeminent members of the Academy are engaged in a variety of activities and have made enormous contributions in surgical education.
