The culminating activity of the Philippine College of Surgeons 88th Anniversary this year marks a significant milestone in recognizing the Global Filipino Surgeon as a cornerstone of a strong, well-functioning surgical ecosystem. This event stands as a testament to our unity amidst diversity, as we venture into new frontiers and expand the dimensions of surgical practice, all in pursuit of delivering “quality surgery for all” through a national surgical plan aimed at addressing unmet surgical needs in underserved areas.

As stewards of the College—a home for cutting surgical specialties—we are honored to host the 80th Annual Clinical Congress under the theme: “Leap to the Future and the Global Filipino Surgeon.” This momentous occasion highlights our unwavering commitment to surgical excellence and innovation, both locally and globally.
