The city of Puerto Princesa is ready to welcome the surgeons of the land for its 2025 51st Midyear Convention!

The PCS president – Dr. Jose Rhoel de Leon together with the over-all chair of the 2025 Midyear Convention Vice President Dr. Joselito Mendoza, CSE chair – Dr. AP De Dios and 2025 MYC Chair – Dr. RJ Manzo and the Metro Manila Chapter organizing committee led by President Dr. Roel Pena, Bong Casis, Cheng Cucueco, Ferdie Syfu, and Monette Casupang made a final ocular of the main venue as well as the accredited hotels last February 16, 2025 that will house the attendees from April 30-May 2, 2025. They also met with the local fellows in Palawan led by Dr. Paul Castillo as well as the local event organizer. This years midyear convention will also be co-presented by the Philippine Surgical Infection Society to coincide with the Surgical Infection Society Asia Pacific meeting.

The theme for this years midyear convention is “Twists and Turns in Surgery: Managing Surgical Challenges”. Our host – the Metro Manila Chapter – have left no stone unturned to make sure that it will not just be a fruitful learning experience for all but a fun filled and relaxing experience as well.
